Overview

Policy debate involves teams of two advocating for or against a resolution that calls for policy action taken by the US federal government.
The "resolution" or overarching topic, which applies for middle school and high school, remains the same throughout the school year.

National Topic (23-24):
The United States federal government should
substantially increase fiscal redistribution in the
United States by adopting a federal jobs guarantee,
expanding Social Security, and/or providing a basic
        income.
